SpotboyE.com was the first to tell you that Gauri Shinde is making yet another woman-centric drama and is in advanced talks with Katrina Kaif for the starring role (English Vinglish director knocks on Katrinas door, June 10).
But for all you Kat fans, theres bad news. We hear, the actress is out of the picture.

Before you give your choices, let us tell you that the English Vinglish director already has someone in mind. Yes, Alia Bhatt it is.
So the story goes that the film, which was to start this monsoon, has been delayed as Gauris slip-disc problem has aggravated.
A source told SpotboyE.com, “Instead of Kat, she has approached Alia, who initially said no as she didnt have any dates. But now the film will start only by December since Gauri has been advised complete bed rest. So now, Alia is trying to squeeze in sometime during that stretch. Considering her equation with Gauri, its quite likely shell agree to do the film.”
And guess whos producing the film Karan Johar. The source added, Hes loved the script and only recently green-lit it.
